Tyson Andrus Brings Expansive Consumer Electronics Vision and Marketing Leadership to BGZ Brands

Lehi, UT, March 1, 2016 — BGZ brands has hired Tyson Andrus to serve as its vice president of marketing. His considerable expertise and team leadership within the consumer electronics and lifestyle marketplaces, will further establish a creative and purpose-driven communication strategy throughout the company.

In this role, Andrus is responsible for all communication and marketing efforts on behalf of BGZ brands’ three mobile accessory companies: BodyGuardz, Lander and Moxyo.

Throughout his career, Andrus has seen a unique level of accomplishment, as he has guided consumer brands, such as Skullcandy, towards world-wide prominence. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in building their retail marketing group, which was crucial to the company’s growth as they expanded into new channels.

His uncanny ability to build marketing programs that connect with consumers, is due in part, because of his insistence that those under his leadership become passionate about their products and truly live them, everyday. Fundamentally, he believes that the best way to understand the “mind of the consumer” is to first, be the customer.
