BGZ brands™, the parent company of mobile accessory brands BodyGuardz®, Lander® and MOXYO®, was named one of Utah’s top workplaces (#11), according to The Salt Lake Tribune’s annual employee survey.
“With so many incredible companies throughout the state, it is truly an honor to be recognized for the environment and workplace culture we have created,” said Kirk Feller, CEO and President at BGZ brands. “For us the calculus is simple—invest in your people, give them autonomy and a creative environment in which they are encouraged to be their authentic selves, and the result will be a workplace that is truly great.”
At more than 8,000 employers in Utah, BGZ brands was honored as #11 among the top “small business” workplaces. Additionally, the company ranked among the state’s overall Top 70 companies, making it a “top 1-percent” workplace and culture.
The Salt Lake Tribune partnered with Pennsylvania-based Energage, an employee research firm, in order to determine Utah’s Top Workplaces. Using an in-depth employee survey, organizations were judged upon a series of “organizational health” factors, including: alignment, effectiveness, connection, management, engagement, executive leadership and benefits.
